Life long residents of New Jersey, Daniel and Marilyn Melega have been avid collectors of Depression glass, pottery and coins most of their adult lives. In 1998 they founded their retail e-business, M&M Antique Enterprises, Inc. and it's subsidiary Legacies Old and New, Inc. Since then Legacies has expanded their services to include live auctions, tag sales, clean outs, appraisals, and appraisal fairs. We are licensed by State of NJ Consumer Affairs and Insured.
While sorting and documenting historical and collectible items of local estates
for auction, it became apparent early on for us to make an effort in preserving
the history we have uncovered and pass it on to our buyers. What separates our
auction company from many of our competitors is our technique of including a
brief history of an item when it comes onto the auction block, when applicable.
We also provide our clients with a Live/Real Time Absentee Bid Catalog through
AuctionZip and Artfact.com This service draws bidders from around the
world. We also accept all major credit cards at our sales.
Through live Auctions, estate tag sales, clean outs, and buy outs, we will completely liquidate estates thus saving our clients
time, travel and stress associated with having to deal with their
family's or friend's estate. No job is too big or too small - we will
handle your estate depending on your needs. Our goal is to reuse, redirect and
repurpose items found in estates in an effort to keep items out of
landfills.
